Faction Rules

PTS

Permission to speak. Assume it is active in DB
Type PTS into text chat and wait
If it is not replied to, assume it's denied.

Self promotion

If you are found altering your ranks in any form that is not given to you by an officer, you will be asked
to change it back and warned. If you do not change it back, you will be given a 1 day ban.

Training

If you have the ability to train, DO IT. This is your main priority. If you leave any sort of recruits to just sit
in the recruit room, your ability will be revoked.

Use common sense, follow orders and you'll do great.

Leaders

DO NOT WIPE THE ROSTER. EVER.

Wiping the roster will instate an instant perma ban. We don't want to, nor do we need to, go through
the work of filling it all back in.

Do not be biased. Unfair demotions/promotions are always seen, just don't do it.
This can end up in you losing your rank.

ROE'S

1. Do not fire unless fired upon. (Tanking damage/Nearby Shots [Does not apply to friendlies. Report Friendly Fire])
2. Enemies with their keys  (or anything that isn't a weapon) out are considered civilians until they pull a weapon out. Once a weapon is pulled they are a threat.
3. You may NOT engage the enemy in their own F.O.B. unless you are raiding them.

YOU ARE ALLOWED KOS ZONES

Only the leader of each Faction (or the highest on for the faction at the time), are allowed to create KOS zones. KOS zones must be claimed through the Advert System.

RAIDS AND WARS

Two things to clear up on wars:

Basecamp is not allowed. Basecamp is shooting the enemy when they are very near or inside of their base. It is not fair to either side or fun for the war.
There is also precap. At the 2 Minute mark before a war starts, everyone needs to be in base or make their way back to base. If they precap the OBJ to get an unfair advantage in the war, they will be warned.

RAIDING

As long as nothing is going on, a raid can be called.
If you are an officer in your faction, you can call raid and bring other people from your country to the raid.
You are allowed to raid Simulations and the Enemy F.O.B. You are not allowed to raid tryouts for a faction.
When you are raiding an enemy F.O.B., do not shoot recruits of either faction and their trainers.
Raids can last up to a maximum of 10 minutes.

When a country raids the opposing country's F.O.B., the raid happens at the F.O.B. where the raid is being held. Meaning that killing should only be there and the general area. Example: AFG raids U.S. The U.S. cannot go to the AFG base to camp them and say that it's just a part of the raid. The raid is happening at U.S. This also means that there should be no random killing across the map as well. The raid is held in one spot, not across the entire map.

The highest SOC faction of each country can also silent raid. This means they do not have to advert. Same 1 life rule applies. They cannot bring any other faction with them.

Mercenary Rules
Mercenaries are a donor class who are able to carry out contracts acting as hitmen for hire. They can also act as mercenaries for acting as a supporting player to another country in wars. This can be a valuable asset to wars for a country, but it has it's own set of rules.

1: You are not allowed to do hits for free as a Mercenary. All hits must give you in-game revenue. There is also a minimum to how much you must accept from someone so that people aren't giving you contracts for 1. The minimum contract price for a hit on someone is $5,000 RP money
2. The minimum contract price for a war is $10,000 RP money.
3. Only an officer is allowed to hire Mercenaries for war.
4. You are only allowed to have one contract at a time. You cannot accept a contract if you are already taking care of one.
5. You are not allowed to have a contract for more than one person.
6. You are allowed to silent raid a base to kill your target for your contract, but you cannot kill anyone else because you are in a KOS zone.

Roleplay Raids
There are also Roleplay Raids. Roleplay raids are a form of raid that have actual roleplay value or sense in which a normal raid rule structure would not work.
Example: CIA raids the AFG F.O.B. to gain intelligence from the ISI. The attackers have one life. The defenders have unlimited lives as well, but if a defender dies, they must wait 2 minutes before returning to the defense against the raid.

Kidnapping
You must be O1+ to kidnap people. The kidnap ratio is 2:1 (Meaning you must have 2 people to kidnap one person). You are allowed to keep a kidnapee for 10 minutes. Raid Rescues are allowed. This would count as a roleplay raid. Kidnapees can also be bargained off for money. You cannot scam Kidnapee exchanges, but can mask a raid rescue as a kidnapee exchange.

With the need for an officer to kidnap someone, this means that the attempt to kidnap two people at one time will mean you need an officer for each person you attempt to kidnap. This represents an officer for each person kidnapped to have control over the situation.

When you are kidnapped, you must follow the orders of the person who kidnapped you. Failure to do so is FailRP.

When you have kidnapped someone, do not power-game to gain info from them. An example of power gaming is saying that you have truth telling serum so they have to tell you a certain piece of information. There is no truth telling serum in the game to do such things. Torture of a kidnapee must be with real in-game items/weapons/props. Power-gaming will get you a warn.

After the kidnap is over, there is a 5 minute cool-down before anyone who was a part of the previous kidnapping can call another kidnap.

****No one in a faction within the same country is required to advert, in a War or Raid. If the
raid isn't false, everyone that is part of the country is part of the Raid/War unless in tryouts.****

DONATION CLASSES
_________________

IF YOU CAN NOT HANDLE THE CLASSES, YOU WILL BE REMOVED AND NOT OFFERED A REFUND.

RECRUIT RULES

You are not to leave the recruit room, if you do, you are subject to be KOS.

If you have a donator weapon and you are on recruit, do not use weapons. Recruits should not have weapons. Using weapons as a recruit is FailRP.

If someone who is not a DI/Officer/Staff tells you to leave the recruit room for any reason, don't. (unless
they were appointed by any of the groups allowed to train.)

Staff and DIs are the only people to train recruits. IF YOU HAVE PERMISSION FROM EITHER OF THESE,
YOU CAN TRAIN.

Recruits are REQUIRED to go through training. In this time, if a DI decides you are not worthy of being
trained, they have the right to refuse training. Some things that can get you kicked out are: Being Mingy,
being annoying, or generally being immature.

Recruits have the option to join the Marines, Army, or Taliban.

Vehicle Rules
Do not carjack an occupied vehicle
Cars are allowed in raids and wars, but do not use them to kill.
Do not shoot a car for no reason. This will be considered Att.RDM If you blow up the car and it has 1
person in it, this is considered RDM, you will be warned. (Example: Wrongfully shooting a car with 3 people will result in Mass RDM Ban)
